Welcome to my blog "omgihavebeenarchitortured.blogspot.com".. My name is Joshua Pimentel and I’m a freshman at Wentworth institute of technology, majoring in architecture. I have been interested in Architecture and the arts since I was 5. I spent most of his time sketching and drawing figures/buildings at home and at school. In 2009, I transferred to Boston Arts Academy ready to explore more about art. Over the summer, I was an intern for Boston Architecture Center. My peers and I at BAC created a tour guide for tourists that wanted to learn about artwork around Boston. In 2009, my classmate and I participated in an art show at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Later on that year I was one of two students selected from his class to travel with the principal to represent the school on a visit to Dartmouth College and discuss the artistic process implemented at Boston Arts Academy. During that summer, Mayor’s Mural Crew under Heidi Schork hired me, where I painted a couple of murals around Jamaica Plain and for the Wang Theater. In 2011, I graduated from Boston Arts Academy with distinction. Now I’m attending Wentworth Institute of Technology where I’m currently majoring in Architecture.
